where are you located , Do you have a retail store i can visit ?
sassy millinery is located in Sydney.
we do not have a store or showroom for you to visit, our designs are only available online.

can you do small  changes to  a design or in different colours than shown ?
Yes, many of the  designs can be customised to your liking  with  small changes ,.often if the change is minor there will be no extra charge .
Please note If the changes are major this is considered  a custom design order.As this often requires much more consultation and making time you can expect the price to  usually be more than the listed prices .
 Many of the designs can also be made in more colours than those shown (dependant on material colour availability)

Please email to discuss changes to a design  or special colour requests at julie@sassymillinery.com.au giving the style  number and  details of the changes you require .Also when you need the item for  as whether or not something can be done can be dependant on this if materials have to be ordered.

How do the fascinators secure in the hair ? 

fascinators are secured with a comb unless stated in the description as being on a headband.
If one is being made for you it can however be made on a headband if preferred for an  additional $6 , please purchase a add headband shown  at the bottom of each page
Berets , pillboxes and disc hats are usually secured with a comb and cocktail elastic ,( some may be on a headband if indicated in the description)

How long will my order take?

Most orders are handmade upon receipt of the order unless the listing states  item  in stock 
.Items made when  ordered -Fascinators - 5 to 10 days
                                                      Select range  7 to  14 days 
                                                      Bridal collection 2-4 weeks

This is VERY dependant upon time of year , during major racing carnivals this can increase, especially around spring racing and  melbourne cup. Often i have to cut off orders 2 weeks before Melbourne cup,  please order early to avoid disappointment.

 stock items will usually be despatched within 2-3 business days of order receipt .

This is a guideline, we strive to produce and ship the pieces as quick as we can. If you require your hat by a specific date please contact us before ordering.

When you place your order you will receive a confirmation email of this, with a follow up email when it has been shipped.


My event is sooner than your usual order time, can you help me?
A rush order may be possible depending on time of year and current order commitments.

If you wish to have a hat or headpiece custom made please  email to discuss at julie@sassymillinery.com.au
please give as much onformation as you can including designs you like, any dislikes , rough size required, colour details,  and when its required by.  

if you have no idea of what you want and are very open to suggestions please also let me know .
Please note during peak periods it may take me a few days to get back to you .


How do I pay?

The sassy millinery online store  is powered by Paypal - this is the preferred payment method.

If you wish to pay by bank deposit  please email through your order details. click here for order form
once we have received your order bank details will be provided  in a return email.

No work will be commenced until comfirmed payment has been received

All prices are shown in AUD (australian dollars)



 

Postage / Shipping
All orders are despatched by Australia post from Sydney

Australia wide: $10 to $15 post and packaging via registered delivery.

Orders can be sent via Express post by request (extra fee may be payable depending on the weight of the parcel and delivery postcode)


 

Packaging: Your order  will be securely packaged  in tissue paper and shipped in a sturdy box to protect the hat or fascinator .

Worldwide: Please email your order to julie@sassymillinery.com.au and we will advise you of the shipping cost. We will invoice you via Pay Pal. Please note that we are not responsible for customs tax or import duties.


 Changes to your order:

In most cases once you place your order and work has begun, no changes can be made.


Refunds and exchanges:

Please choose carefuly as due to the nature of most  of the designs being made when ordered and  special ocassion wear,  we do not refund or exchange if you have made the wrong choice or simply changed your mind.
